The Alabama State Trooper Association is honored to welcome members of the National Troopers Coalition to Hoover, Alabama, for the 2026 NTC Fall Picnic. Set in the heart of the Greater Birmingham area, this gathering is a time for troopers from across the country to come together, reconnect, share fellowship, and enjoy a relaxed day among those who understand the calling and commitment of law enforcement service.

The picnic will take place at the Hoover Metropolitan Complex, a well-known Birmingham-area venue with spacious event areas, ample parking, a picnic area with pavilion, and convenient access from I-459. “The Met” has hosted everything from sporting events and concerts to large community gatherings, making it an ideal location for this special NTC event.

While you are here, we hope you will take time to enjoy Hoover and the Birmingham area. Greater Birmingham is filled with history, restaurants, outdoor attractions, shopping, and entertainment. From the Civil Rights District and Vulcan Park to local dining and easy access around the metro area, there is plenty to experience during your visit.
